Dear parents and grandparents: Welcome to fall semester of Sunday School at Holy Virgin Mary! We got off to a great start Sept. 11 and are excited to begin this year's course of study, focusing on the Twelve Great Feasts and their iconography. The textbook for grades 6-12 this year, supplemented by icon handouts and enrichment material, is Mary Paloumpis Hallick, The Story of Icons (published by Holy Cross Orthodox Press). If you have not yet received your student's copy please see Anthony Boyd. It is requested that each student bring his copy of the book to every class, along with a copy of Holy Scripture in any edition.
